He's been tearing it up for a while now. Seems like its as fixed as its going to get. You want to wait for him to walk as much as Dunn does or something? If so, he'll never get a shot. Time to see if he can translate his game at the next level. Its a test the team needs to put him through if he's going to have value this off-season and this off-season is when he can be most valuable IMO.

someone needs a jump to conclusions mat.

Frazier and Cozart are worth more to the MLB team than Fransisco is right now. Especially if Juan is as fixed as hes going to get.

JF has a higher ceiling than Frazier and way higher than Cozarts. Cozart and Frazier are much more polished, so JF "getting it" means a lot more than Cozart or Frazier.

On that note, Cozart and Frazier should be up. But remember, AAA is more a place for journeymen and AA is where the real talent is, at least thats how it was for awhile. It seems as if a lot more top end talent makes it to AAA nowadays

Sorry if I'm confused here but AAA is a place for journey men but it seems a lot more top end talent makes it to AAA? Sound like contradicting statements to me.

JF getting it doesnt really impress me unless he gets it for a long period of time. Cozart and Frazier being polished should mean they get promoted quicker should it not? Especially when they are actual options for the ML club next year.

This guy has been considered a lost cause since he was putting up an 8/1 K/BB ratio at Dayton 2 years ago. Now that he has done very well against AA pitching and lowered his K/BB significantly, you won't deign to be impressed? Too bad, because this is a player to start to get excited about.

People ignore the ability of players to learn and get better. Francisco is young and Dominican. There are hurdles for those players, but it is plain as day that he is improving. And he has plenty of time to continue improving.

I'm happy when any prospect takes a strong step forward. Doesn't matter if it's my favored guy or not.

He's making improvements but the improvements are taking his future to being terrible to maybe he can be average in my mind. Its not that I'm not some what impressed with what hes done its just that being impressed to a point to get me excited for what hes doing isnt happening. Hes still got a long way to go to develop. Maybe next year he will actually be impressing me to a point where I think he is going to be an answer at some point in his career.
