Did anyone predict both Alonso and Leake?
Proof, please if you did.
I'm only bringing this up because it's so hard to predict this thing.
While I didn't "specifically" say Alonso, I said that they'd take the best Left-handed power available with that pick, but I said I wanted Gordon Beckham. I then said Kyle Gibson last year, even though he had the injury. I would have ignored the injury.
No. I thought the Reds were locks to take Beckham instead of Alonso.

I thought Beckham or Smoak and last season don't remember for sure but Mike Minor stands out in my mind.
