Some people play baseball. Baseball plays Jay Bruce.
Rolen walks for the second time this game.
He should get used to it with this lineup.

Nix singles.
1st and 3rd, no outs.

Nah, if they were listening, we'd have lost Dusty for the season.
This lineup thing is driving me insane...I can understand occasionally batting a guy with a sub-.300 OBP in one of the top two spots of your lineup because you've watched them practice and you think they're going to perform above their current numbers, but to blindly lead off EVERY fricking game all season long with not one, BUT TWO guys with sub-.300 OBPs, you're ensuring that your lineup performs as poorly as it possibly can.
Ugh!

Hanigan K's. Thinking the Reds could use an offensive minded catcher to split time with Hanigan next season.

Bailey 5-3
Reds 2-0 after 3.5

Do they really need to keep showing Dickerson's ankle? I am scared to walk anymore today.
Stubbs gets a little work immediately as the first two hitters fly out to him.
Brian Bixler, (The Bucs version of Janish,) gets a double...probably his first ML extra base hit.
Then Homer settles down and strikes out the pitcher.
After 4 complete, Reds 2 - Bucs 0

May I reiterate something?
Drew Stubbs looks fast.
Joey Votto is the man and boy can Drew Stubbs fly around the bases! Wow.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
We give Brandon some crap on this board but I give him a lot of credit for playing through yet another injury because he feels like the team needs him right now. I hope he gets some good rest during the off day tomorrow.

Come on Brandon.....you could have walked on that pitch and now it looks like he messed up his wrist again.
