It's amazing how less stressful those grounders to the third baseman are these days.

I am not saying he has Failure written all over him........but those are some serious holes.

I also saw Davis strike out 4 times in a row.....so all it shows is that while he has holes...no reason he cannot go fixing the holes.

And yes...giving so many AB's to bad hitters stinks....but that is what Dusty seems to like to do.

There's been a lot of clamoring for Stubbs on RZ, but his year at L'ville didn't point to his being ready. Rosales had about .3 higher OPS and we've seen his struggles.
Both need to be at AAA, but when injuries come. I just hope it doesn't retard their development at the MLB level--same with Bruce. I worry about that a lot.

Reds gets jobbed again with Balentien running the bases....he most likely would have made it at least to 3rd.

    Oh well.

And we get McDonald as a pinch hitter. How futile.

CoCo warming up now in the pen...
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I haven't seen that putting the rookies Bruce or Stubbs in the leadoff spot at the major league level pay off to well either.

Stubbs up to try for five.
McDonald gets caught off third on the error (hero becomes goat)
    Reds lead 4-3.
    Will it stand up.

    Never praise Darnell McDonald.
