Um, how is he bitter?
Seems like a nice kid. I'm sure he did have to hear lots of crap from kids in high school being 'the little kid from the crappy star wars movies.'
I can't imagined the hell from his peers he recieved after he did Star Wars.

Wow, not sure how folks made some conclusions based on this interview. I happen to agree with the youth culture he described. Things haven't really changed since my HS and college days, apparently.
The only thing worse than a new Star Wars movie is someone complaining about a new Star Wars movie
I really don't get even an iota of bitterness from him. He seems pretty well rounded and IMO, has a pretty good outlook. I doubt he'd have said that he "wouldn't change anything" if he was bitter.
Has Lucas ever explained to anyone what the deal with Jar Jar was....and how he actually thought it added to the story?

The 3 latest installments were awful at a level that is tough to put into words.
If you're watchin' a parade, make sure you stand in one spot, don't follow it, it never changes. And if the parade is boring, run in the opposite direction, you will fast-foward the parade. --Mitch Hedberg
I thought it was a good interview. I must admit when I opened the thread I thought it was about Lloyd from Say Anything. Not enough sleep last night.
