Vote to help Cincinnati Sports coverage

Redszone favorite C Trent Rosecrans is launching a new website CNati.com.

In addition to launching the project, he has entered it into the Cincinnati Innovates contest. The prize is $20,000 which would allow the website to be all inclusive.

I have no stake in this but It'd be great to see the website take off.

    You can vote http://www.cincinnatiinnovates.com/contest/entry/CNati

Just so you know you have to fill out a little bit of info(name and e-mail, then you have to confirm the vote by clicking a link on the e-mail.)

He needs to come up with something a little better than interviews being so negative about the people who he expect to read his stuff. Not very smart to try to bait your interviewers into trashing your readers. Then again we are talking about the same C. Trent that used to say he screwed family members of people that didnt agree with him on 1530s forums when they had that lot D stuff.

The first link I had doesn't seem to be working.

    http://cincinnatiinnovates.com/contest/entry/CNati

    That should be better.

You know, a week ago I would've voted for him no problem.

This latest thing with Griffey Jr. really left a bad taste in my mouth.

I'll vote for the guy, always enjoyed his work with the Post. I like the fact that he doesn't throw softballs during interviews. He does need to work a little on his interview technique so he doesn't look like he is digging for dirt so much.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

It's not C Trent's fault that Griffey is upset over the way things happened in Cincinnati, and I would agree with most of what he said. Do you really want a reporter to go all George Grande and be a soft homer type? Just because he chose to interview Griffey doesn't make me mad. It shows a little bit of the man that some fans shunned and became a lightning rod because frustrated fans needed someone to blame.

I like the story because it isn't one another Cincinnati reporter would touch. A lot of the criticism of Griffey was unwarranted and fans and radio show hosts blew things out of proportion to make his life in this city very difficult. We had a potential Hall of Famer playing for us and many fans didn't appreciate that fact.

You know that's a reasonable critique. That said, I don't think anyone can argue we need more people covering the Reds, Bengals etc.. not fewer.
