    Phillips hitting for Sutton.
Absolutely no need for this IMO.

Agreed. The kid has an RBI single already, and Hanrahan is tough on RH hitters. Close game -- save your bullets, it's only the 7th.

Dusty may be trying not to burn everyone out in this first game because he knows he needs most of them for the second game. It doesn't make too much sense with the position players which means it must be true, LOL :

Come on dude, I gotta at least look like I am into the game (flips my toothpick). Gotta make some moves to earn my money so mr. Castellini will bring me back next year dude.

    (Terrible Dusty impression)
I thought league average bullpen arms looked better than this

Well, for one thing it's a HUGE improvement offensively (Phillips August OPS at .620, while Sutton's is a mere.611

Phillips by month is looking like this

    .612
    1.084
    .619
    .769
    .620

3 months of .620 OPS from the cleanup hitter, over 300 PA's.

I'm going out on a limb and saying there most likely has never been a cleanup hitter in the history of the game with such an accomplishment. Any doubters?

If the Reds win this one in a walk off, does it not count if hardly anyone is there to see it?! LOL
