Love "That thing you do" one of my faves...

Saw Miracle at St. Anna, Hellboy II and Push over the weekend.

Liked them all, Push was very obviously setting up for a sequel, so I felt almost cheated. Decent movie until we get to the end and the event that had been building was only alluded too. It needs a sequel just to finish the story.

Really liked Miracle. It was a very different take on a war movie....

The best part about III was the Silver Shamrock song. You could drive your friends crazy singing "Five more day till Halloween, Halloween, Halloween.." over and over

Yeah I saw the first 20 minutes of the 2nd Halloween and they introduced a ton of unnecessary plot stuff I thought. I liked the simplicity of the first movie.

Going to see this movie tonight....I cant wait.

Nah, you were supposed to be laughing at how he was saying it too. He was playing a caricature.

Inglourious Basterds is the best movie of the year so far.

I really liked it, I only wish that it maintained the spaghetti western feel through out the entire movie.

The more I think about it the more I think it might be Tarantino's best film.

I loved the movie. I especially loved the scene with Hans and Shoshana eating strudel.

Hans was a great character, the actor should be nominated for an Academy Award IMO. You could feel the tension in that scene, I felt uncomfortable watching it the tension was so high.

It is on par with Pulp Fiction, maybe even with Reservoir Dogs IMO.

Re: What was the most recent movie I've watched?

I think the historical context alleviates some of Tarantino's cutesy/pretentious traits so I enjoyed it much more than any of his other movies. My 4 favorite films in order are Inglorious, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, and Kill Bill 2.

    GATTACA

Very fascinating. I really enjoy movies like this one and V for Vendetta which are set in the future but don't require lasers and aliens and space ships to be entertaining.

    7/10
