19 years old and I hadn't seen it. Loved it. Even had a few laughs mixed into it. Big fan of Eastwood.
I have all of Eastwood's westerns, and a majority of his others. There are some movies that I still watch them over and over and over again. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is one of them.

    Outlaw Josey Wales is another.

Of course I watched Unforgiven last night on MGMHD for the umpteenth time too.

    Tombstone is another one.

    But I love westerns.

Just picked up a copy of Jimmy Stewart's Shenandoah.

I guess Orphan comes out on DVD this Tuesday. I'm told it is a must-see.

Saw Law Abiding Citizen last night. Thought it was formulaic at first but that turned out not to be the case. I'd recommend it.

I liked it ok. I thought it started off really good, but then got a little bit over the top. But overall I think it was worth seeing.

    Three Kings

It was a creative story but some of it seemed too cheesy and the underlying political messages about the Gulf War pissed me off...

Lost in Translation is one of my all time favorites. Love Bill Murray.

Just saw Paranormal Activity as well. Way over hyped. Didn't think it was very good. The original ending can be found on youtube. I have heard of two new endings specifically. I'd say 3 or 4 stars as well.

Rented The Mist last night with the wife as I am slowly introducing her to scary movies. Not much in the way of fright but a lot of edge of your seat suspense throughout. Thought the ending was pretty wicked as well.

I haven't seen it but my 17 year old son Jason saw Paranormal Activity last night and proclaimed it the scariest movie he has ever seen---but then he is only 17.

One of the most gut wrenching endings of all time.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

"Slither" -- a clever tribute to '80s monster flicks. Nathan Fillion is awesome, as usual. It's not intended to be very scary, but there's a ton of gore and muck, and some brilliant dialogue. Three out of five stars.

Wait, Nathan Fillion is in a new movie I didn't know about?

It's not new...it was released very quietly in 2006.

Watched "Drag Me to Hell" yesterday. Sam Raimi film. Not bad for a horror flick. I'm not into those types but 'tis the season for Halloween. Made Rob Zombie's H2 look like an infomercial.

I watched "The Promotion" on HBO the other day. It stars John C. Reilly, Sean William Scott and Jenna Fischer. Reilly and Scott play Asst. Managers at a large grocery store competing for the Store Manager position in a soon to be opening new location.

It's funny but also fairly realistic. Fred Armisen is great in it as well. I enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
