Frazier, Francisco, Heisey, and Dorn all playing and playing well. Took awhile, but it looks like all four could be options as early as next season for the Redlegs. All four are OPSing over 800 for the season.

    Francisco 22 AA/AAA 847
    Heisey 24 AA/AAA 908
    Frazier 23 AA/AAA 843
    Dorn 24 AAA 803

Add Alonso, who is sure to be on the fast track given his major league contract.

Add Valaika who has been hot and could be a mid-season call up next year. Doubtful he makes it out of spring training, but sometime next year.

I don't know about Alonso. He's not hit most of the year, though, to be fair, BA and most prospect evaluators like him a lot better than I. Valaika is an interesting guy-- he never hits the first time through the league, but crushes it the next year. Reminds me a bit of Rosales.

My guess is one of Heisey/Stubbs/Dickerson gets traded this offseason, with the other two making the OD roster.

Francisco should stay in AAA next year, and be called up only if/when Rolen suffers an injury.

I'd like to see Frazier as the Reds 2B with Phillips moving to SS, but assuming that doesn't happen, Frazier could be the supersub for the Reds in 2010.

If they're not contending come July, Rolen and Phillips could be traded along with the veteran pitchers. If this happens, Frazier and Francisco can start at 2B and 3B, respectively (with Cozart perhaps starting at SS assuming a nice first half in Louisville.) However if the Reds decide to keep Rolen and Phillips beyond 2010, I could see both Frazier and Francisco getting dealt.

Dorn could replace Nix on the roster, or he could stay in Louisville for another year (at least until he is needed as a roster replacement.)

Fielding-wise, how is Dorn is LF? If he is reasonable I would like to see the Reds give him a shot to platoon in LF (this assumes no big bat is forthcoming and a lack of $$ being spent).
