GCL regular season is finished. The GCL Reds finished 6 games back in their division. They had a 28-27 record.

And starting tomorrow play 3 games at home against SB. They need to sweep the series, as SB currently holds the tie breaker if the two teams wind up tied at years end.

The Bats strike out in order. The pitcher for Columbus struck out 10 3 weeks ago against them.

What did I miss on that CS? He looked safe by about 5 feet.

I'm thinking it would be a good idea to shut LeCure down for the year.

Kelch just said Klinker is likely done for the year. That sucks for the Bats. Going into the playoffs, the pitching is getting very suspect.

Kelch also said the Maloney and Fisher will actually pitch down in AA and A+ but not in AAA. Hanigan and Bruce may make rehab visits to the Bats.

There is only about a week and a half of guaranteed games left for the Bats. Probably a good thing that Klinker is done for the year. The Bats are looking like the offense and bullpen might have to carry them in the playoffs.

Neftali Soto singled in the 2nd for Sarasota but was left on base. Still scoreless after 2.
