Janish safe at first. Throw took the first baseman off the bag.

Votto hits a ground rule double, everything is right with the world again.

I spent the weekend in a car with a Pittsburgh fan, and I heard too things repeatedly.

    1. The Steelers have won 1 out of every 7 Super Bowls.
    2. Andrew McCutchen is the greatest CF ever to play the game.

Great to see Drew out play young Andrew this week.

Willy Pipp Taveras, the young Padawan will replace you. He will.

Gomes fails to do the job, up to McDonald to get the run in.

McDonald time, head first slide gets the run home in scraptastic fashion. 5-3 Reds.

FWIW, Stubbs has a .784 OPS right now.

Maybe he's better at the major league level than in the minors...

    OK...maybe he's just on a hot streak.

Off to the dentist...someone else can take over if they like.

Closing note I saw Stubbs play a few times in the minors and this guy in the majors is not the Drew I saw. I guess we will see if it can hold up over the course of a long road trip.

Rosales with a base knock up the middle.
First and Second for the great Corky.

Corky hits one sharply to third. Darnell is tagged out.
    5-3 Reds after Six

I'm just checking in and seriously, Garrett Jones has to be on some sort of record pace for most home runs in limited at-bats.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
