At least Sweet can understand how to place Hanigan and his high OBP up high

Heard Sweet is trying to give one or 2 regulars one more night off before the playoffs. Must be his night.

With Bruce and Hanigan there, regulars will get nights off through Monday. I don't want to see Denove get cold right before the playoffs but it may be inevitable.

Question for those who have seen him... Could Bankston be a cheap replacement for Gomes next year? He plays 4 Postions and none really well vs 2 for Gomes and has been stellar since the All Star Break. Has had a line of .363 /.480 /.843 since and really has had only one horrible month (May) with a OPS of .455.

His next worst month was .723 after that .821...

Kills LH pitching with a line of .356 /.512 /.868 and will be at least 2 million cheaper which could go toward a SS or a C like Benji Molina...

Yeah, he could but he has less power and is streaky.

Bankston just misses one that is caught at the top of the wall in RF.
