It is final: Bats win 4-2 in 16 innings.

Jay Bruce was 0 for 3, with a BB and a run scored.

Ryan Hannigan was 1 for 4(a double) with a run scored.

Frazier and Francisco carried that team tonight on the offensive side of things.

What a crazy night in the system. Dayton loses in 10 innings, Louisville wins in 16 and Billings wins both games of a double header on walk off HR's (Conner hit a walk off slam in a 4-4 game and Cristobal Rodriguez hit a walk off 3 run HR in a 5-5 game).

Nice highlight for the Mustangs in a season woefully short of them.

Dragons tales: Pitcher J.C. Sulbaran of Curaçao, who won Thursday’s game, leaves today for The Netherlands where he will pitch for that country’s team in the World Baseball Cup, similar to the World Baseball Classic, only without major-league players.

To host a Wednesday playoff game now, the Dragons must either sweep three games at Great Lakes to end the regular season while South Bend loses one of its final two games to Lansing, or win two while South Bend loses two.

Had the Dragons won, they would have needed to win only one more game.
