Somehow Matt Fairel's last start of the season went unnoticed yesterday. His line: 8 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 6 K. He finished the season with a 3.02 ERA, 56 BB/137 K, and only nine home runs allowed in 160.2 innings. I'd say he had a pretty successful first pro season.
