One of my 9-year old twins is an Indians fan, so yesterday we took a trip for him to see his team, plus I was looking forward to seeing the Rangers. He was heart broken with the rain out, so let down, poor little guy, I still hurt for him today. We can't go back today for the DHer (interesting, they chose a twi-night DHer), but the weather doesn't look much better for them today. We are looking to going back later this month in a game against the O's. Hopefully, the weather is OK on that day. The risk of outdoor September baseball.
Anyhow, an interesting thing they do, apparently because of the way they can "open" the RF stands, shops and concessions while closing off the rest of the park, they open the gates much earlier (we were there at about 3:45 for a 6 pm game time and a gate was open) than at GAB to give their fans the opportunity to see the Indians take BP. What a fan-friendly gesture that the Reds should certainly explore. It seems like if the Reds installed a gate at a few places, they could open up the LF seats and bleachers for a similar treat for early arriving fans.
I also wore my Bengals cap and didn't get any flack. I guess because it wasn't a Steelers hat. They probably feel sorry for me as I do for Browns fans
