    Friday 9/11/09 Minor League Updates

    Bulls @ Bats - 7:05

    Probables:
    Durham: Jason Cromer - LHP - 7-3 - 2.25 ERA
    Louisville: Sam LeCure - RHP - 10-8 - 4.46 ERA

It will be interesting to see what lineup Sweet sends out there against a tough leftie.

And let's all hope LeCure has a start like his last one.

1-2-3-first inning for LeCure with one strikeout.

LeCure is the only man on the Reds' 40-man roster that hasn't gotten any face time in Cincy. His 25 starts lead the Bats.

Lecure's slider looks good tonight so far. When he has it working for him he usually pitches a good game.

Put on your rally caps, Heisey and Bruce both singled, runners on 1st and 2nd

I hope we can get some runs in. The Bats really need to win this game.

Bats lose 4-3. Francisco 2 for 5, Frazier 2 for 5, Alonso 2 for 3 with a HR and a wallk. Look for all three in Cinti. next year.

Wouldnt mind seeing this opening day lineup:

    1. CF Drew Stubbs
    2. 2B Todd Frazier
    3. 1B Joey Votto
    4. SS Brandon Phillips
    5. RF Jay Bruce
    6. 3B Scott Rolen
    7. LF Juan Francisco
    8. C Ryan Hanigan
    9. P

Let Alonso have one more year in AAA and when Rolen's contract is up put Francisco at 3rd and Alonso is LF

I don't think you'll see Francisco at 3d unlesss he's a whole lot better there than he's shown so far. I think experiments in pretending that infielders will get better are over.
