    Why Wells?

Why do they keep running Kip Wells out there? I know the season is over but don't the Reds have any young pitchers that they might want to take a look at? Ramon Ramirez? Carlos Fisher? Someone from AAA? Not the biggest decision in the world. But why not take advantage of every opportunity a team has in getting ready for 2010? Kip Wells won't be there in 2010. He shouldn't be getting starts in 2009.

    Re: Why Wells?

I think that most of those guys at AAA have been shut down this year or would only be used as relievers due to the innings they've already put in this season.Wells is basically just doing the dirty work. You have to consider that no team in baseball would risk running a young pitcher of any value that have thrown a bunch of innings this year or may even be showing signs of tiring in these meaningless games.Go get em Kip for the next 3 weeks then here is this first ticket out of town. Thanks for the hard work but C-ya later.
