Ken Burns "National Parks: America's Best Idea"

Any one watching this documentary? I always thoroughly enjoy Burn's work.

    Yep, been watching it.

Liked the one last night about Yosemite. I'd loved to have been on those camping trips with Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir.

Pretty good stuff from what I've seen so far, makes me want to visit them again, Yosemite in the autumn is a great place, small crowds, crisp air.

The falls are a bit dry, though. I went in late September a few years back, and kept looking for the falls before stepping back and seeing a dark streak down a hugh rock, and realizing they were dry.

But yes, it was a beautiful place and a very nice time to visit.

True, all snow fed waterways are toast in the Autumn, up and down the coast. In fact Mt Hood looks incredibly bare this year.

Best time for falls is not in the fall.

Enjoying it. I've always enjoyed Ken Burns. This past year I FINALLY got his baseball series and watched it. I need to get another copy of his Civil War one. Lost it in the house fire a few years back.
