Sir Albert (that's one for the absent George Grande) spoils a perfect first inning for Homer. Reds up in the bottom of the first.

10 strikes, 1 ball. I'll take that percentage from Homer tonight. :O)

Boy that 1-2 punch at the top of the lineup should pay dividends. Not

Taveras just had the worst AB I've ever seen from a major leaguer.

Leadoff hitter swings at the first pitch....something I haven't missed while Willy's been out.

Lovely. Two outs all ready. At least Janish saw a few pitches in his at bat.

Seems like July again. Taveras pops up on the first pitch and Janish on the 3rd. Should be an easy night for Cards pitxher.

Darn Holliday. I hope you go to some other team next season.

Perhaps you haven't watched some of his other ABs.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Pineiro has decided to walk back to the hotel after the game. He wants to work up a sweat.

Homer gets Rasmus out on a fly ball. Colby has been a Reds killer this year.

You have to wonder how the mind of the Dust works. Taveras has been a huge run eraser, so why do you ever start him?

During his pre-game conversation with Marty he said that Willy has good numbers against Pineiro.
