Having better players makes "the right time" or "the big hit" happen a lot more often. PLUS PLUS
IMO the #1 prospect is Yorman. To do what he did, at his age, shows his potential. Yes he's still raw, but he'll be spending some time at Dayton next year as a 17 year old. From all reports, phenomenal tools, and possibly the highest upside of any position player. If he realizes his talent, He could be knocking on the door by age 20.
Suck it up cupcake.
Alonso has enormous upside as well, has a lot more polish, and from all accounts is closer to the majors and helping the big club. Yorman is a great prospect, but for me he's still quite a ways off. Compare Alonso and Yorman side by side, and I dont think there's too much a gap in their overall upside. So to me, it then comes down to who's closer and further along in the development process. Thats Yonder.

Alonso damn well better have more polish, he's 6 years older than Yorman. But for raw talent, and where he played this year, plus age I pick Yorman. In fact it was because he spent time at the Pioneer League and Duran didn't tells me he is a bit more polished than Duran. Maybe a bit more mature. Of all the Reds prospects, he is THE guy I'm most interested in.
Suck it up cupcake.
