Goodbye, Baseball! See you in the spring...

I've shared with you all that my oldest daughter is an illustrator. She put up a blog this week about the coming end of the baseball season (and the definite end for our beloved Reds) with an illustration she started of Junior. She also added a piece she did back in high school and then I mentioned one I did of Pete rose back in the 70's. So she put them all up along with a little bit more. Enjoy.

    Cool stuff-thanks for sharing.....
"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing this with us. I love that she's a Joey fan too!

Thanks all for your kind words. I know I'm a biased observer, but she's very talented. A year or two ago, I sent a link to her sites to my art teacher from high school. He sent her a lovely note and invited us up to Dayton to visit his gallery some time. We still haven't been able to do that. Maybe I'll squeeze that in before she moves to DC.
