    Attaching a thumbnail

    How do I attach a picture thumbnail in a PM? And would recipient of this PM be able to save the picture and apply it as their avatar?

    The current version of vBulletin doesn't permit that. The only way to include an image in a PM is to link to one that's already online. I think there's a custom add-on that will do what you want, but I'm not sure how secure/reliable it is.

    (Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

    Help stamp out, eliminate, and do away with redundancy.
