Getting an error when installing Service Pack #2.

I have had NUMEROUS issues with this computer (and operating system). I am tempted to drop it off at the Geek Squad and tell them to have a field day!!! The only thing stopping me from doing that is not wanting to sink more money into a lemon (I bought the computer used).
So, I'm looking for help with this issue as well as registry clean-up and inexpensive computer repair services in the Louisville area.

Not sure if it will have what you're looking for, but it might be worth a read. Otherwise, you might try doing a Web search on your error message.

Thanks for the responses. Looks like I need to reformat the drive and re-install windows. That sounds over my head and since I bought the computer used, I don't have a windows back-up disk. I guess I'll just go without Service Pack 2.
