Reds Spring Training Stadium in Goodyear - Photos

Spent some time this afternoon at the Reds Spring Training Stadium in Goodyear, watching the Saguaros (The Reds AFL Team) play.

Here are some stadium shots & action shots of the three Reds Minor Leaguers playing today.

The Stadium Shops were closed and there were were only a few people in the stadium but that at least allows for some close shots and the amusing part of being in a baseball stadium with couple hundred people, is you can hear everything on the field, from the umpires to the coaches to the players.

First up - the Stadium Shots

Reminds me of the park in Scottsdale, although my memory's dim as it was many years ago that I went there while in town for a business meeting.

Great photos and good to see you back around here!

The stadium looks much better than what the Reds had in Florida, but I can't get past it being 3,000 miles away and having to share it with, of all places, Cleveland.

    Change is hard.

Wow, great pictures! The facilities look awesome and I'm glad to get a chance to see some of the young guys too. The Reds may not know what to do with all these nice facilities after spending so much time in Sarasota. Of course my favorite picture is the one of the giant Joey wall, LOL

Thanks for sharing those with us!

Is that your boy jm? He looks to be about my son's age and even though that one picture is from behind it seems as if he's staring out at the field in amazement.

That looks like a wonderful place to watch a ballgame.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
