The Red Sox just traded for Jeremy Hermida.

Maybe someone should change the thread title to something more general?

Two minor transactions but both involving Reds and freeing up two spots on the 40-man roster.

11/04/09 Cincinnati Reds outrighted Kevin Barker to Louisville Bats.
11/04/09 3B Danny Richar filed for free agency

I'm fine with this. I liked that he was a LH bat that could fill in around the infield, but his bat and glove never impressed me.

Oh no, there goes the man who was suppose to replace Juan Castro as Mr. Glove . Oh well.

Wouldnt mind to see us going after Garland and Putz if were looking to move Cordero for salary relief.

Two more openings on the 40-man roster, as C. Trent is tweeting:

The #Reds tinkering with the 40-man: Corky Miller, Darnell McDonald outrighted to Louisville. Not a surprise

Gotta use the nether regions of the 40 man for youth. But I hope the Corkscrew lands in Louisville.
