    To make it even more reasonable, Hernandez' $1m buyout is included in his 2010 salary, per DougDirt on the ORG. Nice to see Hernandez back in red next season, especially after hearing about the contract.

    And the options are? Hernandez is a MLB Catcher. People can yak about Hanigan all they want, but what was his BA with runners on? What was his RBI #? He's a back-up, period. Miller, has bounced around so much the Reds aren't the only team to realize he's nothing more than damage control filler. (Super nice guy though).

    Hanigan is still the better defensive catcher though. He has the better arm for throwing out runners.

    Like the Rolen trade, people criticized the Ryan Freel trade because it looked like a rental, but now it looks even better.

    If thats true, then I really like the deal!!! I wasnt big on the trade initially as far as him being the return, but I learned to like him and gained respect for his game overall last season, glad he will be back with us for another year. I really turned to his corner when he filled in for Votto during his time out.
