His episode of VH1 Storytellers is the peak of that series, IMHO. The CD version is great, too.

What is he doing at 1:56? Also, is he singing at one point, "This song is so cheesy."?

I've met Billy Idol on two occasions, and he is a grade A jerk.

I met Billy Idol once. I won't get into details because this is a family site, but what I saw him do was simply shocking. I also saw him forget the lyrics to "Rebel Yell" while on stage and then leave the concert because he was angry at the bassist for trying to cover for him.

Worked at one of his shows back in the early '90s not long after he had busted up his leg in an accident. He was on stage with a cane, but still did the entire show. The thing I remember most about the show was that it probably had the record for most female body parts signed of any show I had worked.
Burn down the disco. Hang the blessed DJ. Because the music that he constantly plays, it says nothing to me about my life.

I'd say min wage should be about $9/hr - Sea Ray
