    Yes.

    He'll have a good year I'd say. 14 Wins. 3 ERA

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Realistically speaking, put me down for:

    30 GS, 190 IP, 12-10, 4.20 ERA, 160 K, 65 BB, 25 HR
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I think he might have a year or 2 like that.Just not next year.Still I think 14 or 15 wins and a 3.5 ERA is very likely.

I think if he has a breakout year, it's next year. Right age, coming off a great second half, and finally having the confidence he lacked previously. This is if he puts it all together. I don't see something in the middle, this...

20 wins and hoisting a large trophy in Fountain Square in the first week of November? I can dream, can't I?

Yeah, that looks about right. I think 2010 is the year he steps up to be a competent MLB SP for a whole season. 2011 and beyond, he may take another step higher than that. If not, the Reds should still be happy they held onto him.

Bill James is not optimistic on Homer:
    29 games, 170 IP, 256 walks + hits, 140 Ks, 8-11 W/L, 4.87 ERA.

That sounds right. James has to balance the insane offensive performances he predicts for almost every hitter in the league...
