    Moving North

I'm being transferred up to my company's Columbus office starting the beginning of the year. Was approved for my apartment today, and will be moving my stuff the day after Christmas. Cincinnati/N. KY was nice for a couple years, but I'm looking forward to a new beginning in a new city where I have many friends and family, and I guess...the Clippers?

    Welcome to CowTown!

To get you started, you'll need some cut-off jeans. A t-shirt with a cartoon shark drinking a beer saying "Chick Magnet" or something of that nature. Next, some shades you bought at BP. Lastly, a mixed CD with Metallica and Tim McGraw.

    You're all Set!

Hey don't forget, it's just a quick two hour ride down here to see the Reds. But minor league parks are nice and you can take in the Bats when they're in town.

Good point, hadn't even thought about the Bats playing up there.

Nowhere, because it's closed down now. They built a new one a couple blocks north at Lane Ave. and High St. I don't know what the other poster was talking about.

    Re: Moving North

Congrats on you move, and the new beginning.....

Funny, I was getting ready to post the same type of thing....

I've been approved for my apartment in Cincinnati, so I'll be leaving SE Ky and heading back to the Queen city soon. I start my new job next week and we're moving some stuff this weekend...

I'm looking forward to getting back, and re-connected with friends AND being able to grab a Reds or Bengals game without the 3 hr drive!

    Must be a UC fan

But anyway, I've lived in Columbus for about 3 months now, being a freshman at OSU. Its a great city, with tons to do. Huntington Park is amazing, even better than Fifth Third Field. I went last year to watch Homer pitch, and I plan on watching all the Bats games in Columbus this year. Blue Jackets games are fun, even though I'm not a huge hockey fan.

This is where I must put in my obligatory plug for Plank's Pizza. Man, I miss that stuff. Actually just about everything I miss from Columbus involves food. Same goes for Cleveland. And West Virginia. So you see where my priorities lie.

Plank's is good but weird kind of, sweetest pizza I've ever had.

http://planksisawesome.com/default.aspx I'm guessing these aren't the same "Plank's". This one is close to where I live and for the longest time I thought it was seafood.
