You can't say average or worse defense though... I haven't seen a single report on his defense being good or bad...

I haven't either. However, being a good defender is pretty much a must for a middle infielder, and until I see evidence that he's looking to be at least average, I can't use it to justify him as a high-end prospect. It's not that I don't like him as a prospect. It's just that based on what I know, there are several players--namely pitchers--that I like more as prospects right now.

Re: Who is Redszone's #27 prospect?

I was only planning on going to 40 but I've seen a couple people suggest we go to 50 and shorten the voting period. I'll probably just go to 40 but if someone wants to take over from there and go to 50 it's fine with me. I'll shorten the voting period to two days if that's what you guys want.

Also - should we eliminate runoff votes altogether unless there is a tie? Or do you want to keep it as is, i.e., a player must win by more than two votes.

I don't really see the need for a runoff.

Yes, eliminate runoffs and shorten the period.

Re: Who is Redszone's #27 prospect?

Fine with me. We're getting to the point where there's going to be a runoff vote nearly every time. From now on the only time we'll have a runoff is if there's a tie. I also think it's a good idea to shorten the voting period from three days to two. I've noticed on the last five polls or so that most of the votes came during the first two days. For example, in this poll, we've received about one or two votes in the last 15-20 hours.

It looks like we'll be forced to do a runoff vote as Del Rosario and Ondrusek tied with 11 votes. I'll start the poll in the morning.
