The Rangers already have Michael Young (who moved to 3B) and now Khalil Greene. They say Greene was acquired to fill a utility role, but does anyone think that Elvis Andrus could be available?
I won't lie to you. He's one of my favorite young SS in the game and I think his potential is way high. I'd love to see him in a Reds uniform, especially since SS is an area of glaring need.

I though they were going to use Greene in a utility-role? Altough, I'd love for Reds to make a serious attempt at getting him. The problem is they would demand a lot... No surprise there.
Alonso + ?
I think you start with Cozart in a deal like this because what other spot would he fill if Andus were here. Plus it eases the pain for the Rangers.
Harang + Cozart + Heisey?
It would be awesome to have a SS named Elvis, I tell you that!

I think that in a year or two, one of these guys - Frazier, Dorn, Valaika, Cumberland, Stubbs - will be ready to replace Dunn. They won't hit as many home runs as Dunn, but they should have similar OPS. - 757690, July 22, 2008

Supposedly, Greene will struggle to make a Major League roster this year, but I can't imagine that his defense has fallen off that much.
I would have loved to have seen him be given the chance to compete for a roster spot with the REDS.
The Rangers aren't "planning" on Greene to even make the roster.
