It will be interesting to see who gets removed from the 40 man if and when some of these guys are ready.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

    Let's make some guesses. Um...Taveras....
This is the Cal Ripkin Jr. of typos.

If you ask me to join your fantasy baseball league and I select Legolas in the first round, don't be angry at me. It's not my fault I've read up on the players and you haven't.

I'm sure this is in another thread somewhere but the Mets need a CF'er and who makes worse decisions than the Mets? I'd give 'em Tavares for a set of 2 old seats from Shea....they'd look good in the man cave!

That means 'pitchers and catchers report' in 28 days! Sweet....

I always thought the non roster invitees list was larger then that and compiled of more actual non Reds.. Minors or on the Roster last year.

hopefully that means that the current roster has more talent than usual and that they don't feel the need to bring in so many auditioners

I'm familiar with most of these guys, but does anyone know anything about Brandon Yarbrough other than what his stat sheet says? Never heard of him.

The lack veterans fringe players like Andy Phillips, Jolbert Cabrera, Rickey Stone and Victor Santos on the Reds spring training roster is good thing. It's a sign of improving depth for the organization.

Minor league catcher who was in the Cardinals system. Probably just a guy to help the catching load.
