I don't know if this is true or not, but I recently heard that the blue field at Boise State has another problem:

I could be wrong but I would think it would cause a lot of eye strain to watch players move around on that. Red is the harshest color...having to stare at it for hours would be rough, especially on a sunny day.
The teams better both wear white..ugh.
