    From Jamie Ramsey's blog:

The above photo is of Cincinnati Enquirer's John "The Loose Cannon" Fay moments before he ran out onto the middle of the field screaming "FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!"

Reds Director of Media Relations Rob Butcher, who is legally permitted to carry a taser gun when Fay is around (or as we like to call it, the "Fay-zer Gun") zapped John near the pitcher's mound, bringing him down without any further incident.

After his hair stopped smoking, John got up and returned to his writing duties as if nothing happened. The Reds media relations department likes John enough to tolerate the occasional crazed outbursts

Gotta love the caption by Ramsey.

A rare photo of the legendary Mark Sheldon of MLB.com.

Cincinnati Enquirer's John "The Loose Cannon" Fay calmly watches batting practice.

Another Fay sighting...this time, chatting it up with Reds President and CEO Bob Castellini. Moments after this photo was snapped, Fay went bananas again. This time climbing on top of the batting cage Spiderman-style claiming that he was going to "wear pajamas on the moon." Batting practice was delayed until Rob Butcher arrived on the scene with the "Fay-zer Taser" and restored order.
