    Re: 2010 Spring Training pictures

    From Jamie Ramsey's blog:

Here's the "Loose Cannon" John Fay not happy about getting his photo taken. I forgot that flash photography sends Fay spinning into an uncontrollable lunatic. Mere seconds after this photo was taken, Fay crouched down and started hopping like a frog towards the outfield while yelling "YOU CAN'T BURN MY FINGER NAILS! YOU CAN'T BURN MY FINGER NAILS!" This lasted a few minutes until Reds Director of Media Relations Rob Butcher, with fresh batteries in the "FayZer-Tazer," subdued Fay with a couple thousand volts of discipline. Batting practice resumed without further incident.

His John Fay captions have been great all month. But that last one is by far his best.

Joey Votto is shown here participating in a contest to see who can throw a baseball the farthest. With this throw, Votto reached second base at Goodyear Ballpark (shown in the background..The ballpark is about a half-mile away). Votto came in 2nd place behind Reds Senior Clubhouse and Equipment Manager Bernie Stowe, who reached the Goodyear Ballpark pressbox with his long toss.

Coach Mark Berry was going over baserunning drills this morning with Johnny Cueto and Aroldis Chapman...Cueto was the pupil and also had to act as instructor, relaying and demonstrating Berry's English instructions to Chapman in Spanish.
