Thought I'd make this to talk openly about some fantasy trades since leagues are running. Anyway I have a trade offer on the table and was wondering if I went overboard making this offer?
my offer is:
Chase Utley
Jhonny Peralta
Alfonso Soriano
for
Raúl Ibañez
Alcides Escobar
Bobby Jenks
Im crazy right? I needed a closer, the guy I was offering to needed a SS and 2B
I think you're crazy.. Utley is a first round draft choice. And I've always seen Soriano as a top 50 fantasy player just because he can provide every category. Ibanez is what, 38 now? How long can he keep going? Closers change so frequently throughout the season for a lot of teams that I've learned my lesson to not give up too much in trying to trade for one. But hey, that's just my opinion
I'm not sure I would trade Utley by himself for those three.

More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can't wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that's not only better, but also more directly involves me.
I cancelled the trade, thx for your opinions, I guess I better clear them here first.
On a side note- anyone think Soriano will rebound this year? He was awful last year but hurt....
I'm expecting Soriano to go .275 BA with 22 HR 68 RBI 88 Runs & 17 SB
I wouldn't bank on that many steals.
