    Taveras signs

a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals. So despite JB's absence the Nats continue to snatch up former Reds.

I would doubt that he is going to play there. Doesn't Nyjer Morgan play Centerfield? Morgan is the kind of player the Reds were hoping to get last year when they signed Taveras.

I can't believe they signed him. What are they showing their fans? How do they expect to sell tickets? Adam Dunn and WT in the outfield. Both those guys are on my All Time Bad Defensive team for the Reds. WT can get to the balls, just cant catch them. AD, well I dont have to go into detail do I?

I think Adam Dunn mostly plays 1B now.

As frustrated as we Reds fans can get over player transactions, how bad it must be to be a Nats fan!!

I would not wish Willy Taveras on my worst enemy.

I'm still amazed that Tavares somehow was a starting player on a World Series team.

Wasn't he a starting player on the Astros and the Rockies? When the Astros got beat by the White Sox, then when the Rockies had their memorable run.

Last year I saw Dunn in 3 postions, LF, RF (really?), and 1st. But your probably right.
