After a rain delay that began at 4:15 PM in Chattanooga, the Mudcats are down 10-7 in the seventh. I've been outside with the old radio so I haven't been in front of the keys this afternoon.

I did learn that Dallas Buck is done for the year for those of you that didn't already know this. Apparently an MRI found a calcium buildup in his right oblique that may well have been the problem for him for the past couple of years. Surgery this week was successful and he is planning to be back in time for spring training.

Alexander Smit, who started for the Mudcats today, is terrible. His numbers speak for themselves.

Mudcats lose to Chattanooga 10-7. Again they had an early lead and gave it up.

The Pawsox were in Durham last year for a four game series in June. We attended two of the four games. The total draw for the series was over 40,000. Impressive.

As of now, the Bats are 25-31 and ten games back. The Mudcats are 25-32 and ten games back. I'm only surprised at the Bats at this point of the season. I really thought they would be much better.

Bats tie it up at 1 -1 in the 2nd.

Terrero came out of the game but I didn't hear why.

    Griffin replaced him
