    Cincinnati Bengals select ....

Dan Williams, Defensive Tackle, from the University of Tennessee.

We believe Dan will make an immediate impact upon our defense and be a huge asset on the defensive line.

Re: Official 2010 Redszone NFL Mock Draft!

The New England Patriots are heading into this draft with four picks in the first two rounds (three second round selections). The Patriots were thrashed by Baltimore in the first round of the playoffs and age is starting to catch up, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

With that in mind, there are three big needs on this side of the ball: OLB, ILB, and DE. A TE is also a possibility with Ben Watson a FA, and even more intriguing given Jermaine Gresham is on the board.

    Our final candidates are:
    Sean Witherspoon(OLB/ILB-Missouri)
    Brandon Graham(DE/OLB-Michigan)
    Sergio Kindle(DE/OLB-Texas)
    Jared Odrick(DE-Penn State)
    Jermaine Gresham(TE-Oklahoma)

With the 22nd selection, the New England Patriots select:

Jared Odrick, DE from Penn State University.

Odrick will step in and replace the presence that was lost when Richard Seymour was dealt to the Raiders. Almost a similar style of player and identical to another Penn State alum, Aaron Smith who is a DE for the Steelers.

You think they'd pass up Bryan Price of UCLA in order to take Dan Williams? God I hope not...

Excellent selection WVR I was looking to possibly take Odrick myself for the Jets, few pure 3-4 ends available in this area of the draft.

Price is a better fit than Williams IMO. Williams is more of a 3-4 nose tackle. Don't see the Bengals going that route either since its not Zimmer's specialty.

Then again, I would have went offense.

Disagree, Williams would be just fine in a 3-4 or a 4-3.

And he's better than Bryan Price, IMO.

What I can't figure out is that everyone here knows I'm a shill for the SEC and Tennessee in particular yet I'd be mad as hell if the Bengals took Williams while Price was still on the board...

With the 24th overall pick, the Philadelphia Eagles select Carlos Dunlap, DE Florida. We look for Dunlap to team with Trent Cole as a dynamic duo at Defensive End.

With the 25th Pick the Baltimore Ravens select Sergio Kindle OLB/DE University of Texas

This selection gives the Ravens an infusion of youth into their front seven.

I didn't draft him because he wore that ugly orange, I drafted him because he's the 3rd best DT in the draft and I think he'd be a hell of an addition to an already tough Bengal defense.

I think it's my turn to post the Arizona pick but I don't have any of my information here at work. Can I post my pick when I get home later tonight? Sorry to be an inconvenience and hold up the game.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

We're on day 7 and pick 26. If you pick tonight, you'll actually be speeding up the process.
