    Rojas has the range of Escobar. He isn't the same hitter as Escobar, but defensively.... yeah, he is in that league.

    What level will he be this year, High A or AA?

    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12

    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

    AA appears to be the only level at which the Reds won't have a highly rated prospect at SS. (Unless, I guess, Janish is sent down and Cozart stays at Carolina for a while. Which isn't likely--especially the last part.)

    I've never seen the guy play. I was just referring to Doug's description and the OP quote describing his defensive prowess.

    As for comparing anybody to Ozzie Smith... it's one thing to say a guy is among the best in the league right now. It's quite another to compare him to one of the, if not the, greatest defenders in the history of the game.
    Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
