Treated in the Emergency room. Family representative says it was not serious. Hopefully, he recovers fully.

I've had respect for quite a few folks that have passed through the Dodger organization, Vin Scully is one of the very few of those that I've actually liked.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Vinny and his family.

Wow. Hope he's all right. He's 82 now, and at that age, even things that usually aren't serious can be.

Scully is supposed to retire after this season.

He is one of the last if not the the last link to the Dodgers Brooklyn days.

Unless LaSorda is still active with the Dodgers, Scully is probably the last.

The article must have been updated. It said he fell out of bed and hurt his head but said he would be fine. It was expected he would be calling the Dodgers game against the Indians on Sunday.

Lasorda is active the same way Bench is active for us. As a special assistant to the VP/GM whatever. Basically when something is needed they can call and they keep him on payroll.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Cincinnati Bengals - None
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Don Zimmer is still a coach with the Rays.

When Scully passes, I hope he is cryogenically preserved so that when cloning is perfected in the future, we can create 30 Vin Scullys and assign 1 to each team.
