    Minor League Spring Training games

    Minor league ST games have started and while there will probably be limited information, I'll go ahead and start a thread where we can keep track of the results.

    3/20 game

    Bats fall 10-4 to Albuquerque (LAD) on Saturday. Chris Denove was 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and a homerun. Chris Valaika was 2-for-3 with a double. Starter Chad Reineke allowed 4 runs off 6 hits and struck out 2 in 2.1 innings.

    3/21 game.

    Bats down Clippers, 6-5. Matt Klinker (3.0ip, 3h, 1bb, 3k), Sean Danielson (2-5, 3B, 2 SB), Michael Griffin (2-4, 2 2B).

    Lee Tabor (2.0ip, 4h, 1ER, 1bb), Enerio Del Rosario (1.0ip, 2h, 1k), Pedro Viola (1.0ip, bb, k), Jerry Gil (1.0ip, 3h, 3ER, bb)

    Danny Dorn (1-4), Eric Eymann (1-3, RBI). Bats face Sounds(MIL) on Tues. With cuts coming team should closer resemble 2010 squad.

    3/23 game.

    Bats lose to Sounds(MIL), 6-4. Yonder Alonso DH'd and went 2-4 with an RBI and stolen base. Chris Denove homered.

    Bats fall 5-1 to Albuquerque (LAD). Chris Heisey, Todd Frazier, & Zack Cozart all start. Matt Maloney (3.2 inn, 3R, 0ER, 6SO, 0BB). Chris Denove (1-1, 2B). Chris Valaika (1-3, RBI 2B).

    A lot of action in tonight's 11-3 win over Sounds. Zach Cozart (2-5, HR, 2RBI), Chris Heisey (3-4, 2B, HR), Yonder Alonso (2-4, RBI)

    Todd Frazier (2-5, 2B, 2RBI), Danny Dorn (3-4, 2B, 3RBI). Get excited because the 2010 version of the Louisville Bats could be fun.

    I would certainly take the L'ville Bats starting 8 over what KC is putting on the field.

    3/27 game.

    Bats defeat Knights(CHW) and Jake Peavy, 8-2. Josh Anderson goes 4-5 with 2 doubles and 4 rbi. Peavy goes 7 innings and allows 12 hits and 7 earned runs.

    Bats 8, Knights 2 - Yonder Alonso (2-3, RBI), Todd Frazier (1-4, 3B), Danny Dorn (1-4, RBI), Luis Terrero (3-4, 2B, HR)

    3/28 game.

    Bats top Nashville (MIL) 3-2 Sunday. A. Chapman (1IP, 1H, 2K). S. LeCure (4IP, 0R, 3H, 2K). C. Dickerson (3-5, HR). Z. Cozart (1-3, RBI).

    Bats top Nashville (MIL) 3-2 on Sunday. Aroldis Chapman pitched an inning and struck out 2. Sam LeCure allowed 3 hits and struck out 2 in 4.0 IP. Chris Dickerson went 3-5 with a solo HR. Danny Dorn was 1-3 with an RBI 2B. Zack Cozart was 1-3 with an RBI. Enerio Del Rosario pitched the 9th and closed the game with 1 hit... and 1 strikeout. Bats take on Albuquerque (LAD) tomorrow afternoon.

    3/29 game.

    Bats shut out Albuquerque (LAD) 3-0. Tom Cochran piched 4 innings and gave up 0 hits, while striking out 4. Danny Dorn (3-3) and Michael Griffin (1-4) each hit a solo HR. Yonder Alonso (1-4) added an RBI double. Lee Tabor closed the final 2 innings with 2 strikeouts, 1 hit, and 1 walk. Bats host Columbus on Tuesday in Goodyear.

    Bats blank Albuquerque (LAD) 3-0 on Monday. Cochran (4IP 0H 4K 2BB). Dorn (3-3 HR 2B). Alonso/Griffin: RBI each. Tabor closes (2IP 1H 2K).
