Spilborghs smokes the ole 'get ahead fastball' down into the RF corner and legs out a stand-up triple. Ball took a funny hop and Bruce couldn't hold him to a double.
BA starts TuLo w/ 2 sick curves to get ahead 0-2 and then throws another sick, sick hook and TuLo goes down swinging on 3 pitches. No worries about the triple.

Oh and I hope the Rockies keep their starters in for at least 6 innings today so we can see what Chapman does vs them. They are expected to smoke the NL West this year, so should be exciting to watch how he does!

Votto looking good up there, even after falling behind looking at 2 pitches, 0-2. Fouls a couple off and gets the count to 3-2. but he K'd. 8 pitch AB though.
Votto making De La Rosa work. Would love to have Bruce find a way to approach hitting off of lefties like Votto does.
