Cheating continues to pay. The obvious lesson to be learned.
Shocked when I saw this. Granted I think that the LA factor and boosters played more into the USC violations that Floyd I just don't think he should have been hireable. Guy has been bad news everywhere he has been. Never has really been that good of a coach but always seems to land on his feet.
I'm not going to hold any pity parties for USC. Like bucksfan2 said, there's a lot of crap going on with the athletic program there. I do think he's a good coach but I can't understand how he gets a job when he's basically been accused of giving money to an agent of a player. That makes the stuff Kelvin Sampson did seem like nothing.
From LA to El Paso.
Mrs. Floyd can't be happy.
I'd just love to see USC get hit with the death penalty in both sports given the whole Reggie Bush/OJ Mayo fiasco.
To top it off, replacing your outgoing football coach with another polarizing figure such as Lane Kiffin is kinda like giving the NCAA the finger. You just want to see them suffer.
