    George Foster bat

Does anyone know where I can find out the value of a George Foster 1978 black bat? It was a Riverfront Stadium giveaway celebrating Foster's monster 1977 MVP season. The bat is black and in new condition.
As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.

    Re: George Foster bat

The official George Foster Little League bats from the era go for anything from $10-$30, depending on their condition. Meanwhile, game-used George Foster bats go for $100-$250, depending again on their condition and whether George autographed them or not.

I don't know the precise value of a pristine stadium giveaway bat like you have, but my hunch is it's between the $30 tops paid for the Little League bats and the $100 starting point for one of Foster's genuine, game-used relics. In the final analysis, exactly how much it's worth depends only on what someone's willing to pay you for it.
