Re: Does Jay bruce look like he's gained weight?

    From Fay's blog:

Jay Bruce got caught on camera giving a double obscene gesture toward the Reds dugout after his double in the second inning last night.

    He’s apologized.

“It one of the more stupid things I’ve ever done,” he said. “It was an honest mistake. I wasn’t mad at anyone.

“It was a kidding-around thing. Nonetheless, it was a mistake that shouldn’t have happened. I have to be more professional than that.

“I want to apologize to the fans, my teams, ownership, everyone who supports me.

Bruce had nothing to apologize for.

    I agree. I don't think it's a big deal.

I disagree; I don't think it's a huge deal, but there are thousands and thousands of kids watching Jay.

He said the right thing and it's over.

Giving the finger is a crass and vulgar thing to do- nearly everyone has done it, but not ever in polite company. On TV? no way

I think Jay was flipping off his teammates in the dugout, who were probably razzing the crap out of him after finally getting a hit. Understandable, but he needs to find a way to do it "undercover" next time.

I agree completely. He did say he forgot where he was. Considering that there was only like 12 or 13 fans in the stadium, I guess he could forget it was a live game and not just a scrimmage. :O)

All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
