Actually, they're trying to promote that name. I've been hearing EVERYONE on WLW call it opening night for the past week or so.
That's what tonight's promotion is called. It was marketed that way by the organization.

Maybe it's just me, but I think I've read someplace where the Reds are calling tonight's game "Opening Night".
