Nice story from Tom Ramstetter in the Cincinnati Enquirer:
full story:Tyler Roope, 12, who suffers from the neuromuscular disease Spinal Muscular Atrophy, played catch with Reds outfielder Jay Bruce before the Reds hosted the Chicago Cubs. It was Tyler’s wish made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
“When they revealed that he got his wish, he could not contain the smile on his face,” Jim Roope said. “I saw the same smile (Friday) putting that uniform on him and when Jay walked out and they made eye contact. I think those are the three biggest smiles I’ve seen on his face, ever.”
