Positive: Bronson Arroyo throwing seven different types of pitches, making people look foolish all day

Negative: Brandon Phillips looks lost at the plate right now

One positive: Arroyo but thats more like 8 positives.
One negative: Not really making a pitcher work still. Lots of impatient looking swings and ABs up there right now.

As does pretty much everyone on the team except Votto!

    ....

(I'm a little irritated that Jacoby's still left. Don't take me too seriously)

You know what's sad.. is that Bronson had two of the best at-bats in the game.

He worked the pitcher better than anyone else on the team. He saw 18 pitches in 3 at bats. The only two players that saw more were Stubbs (19) and B Phil (20), but both of them had 4 plate appearances.

I think they need to be taking some lessons from Arroyo.

Bruce has hit the ball hard, but just not in the right places.

Hopefully not another year of unlucky baseball by Bruce.

That excuse works for a series or two.. but not for two seasons. He needs to step it up.

I compared him a year ago to Brooks Robinson. Brooks had a slow start to his career Offensively, even being sent back down a couple of times. When he finally got it, he was a great hitter.

The same will be true with Bruce. He just has to make one more major adjustment.
